WMA

Short for Windows Media Audio, WMA is a file of file data compression developed by Microsoft that has the same quality as a MP3 audio file at half the bit rate and is capable of CD-quality audio at 64 kbit/s.

In Microsoft Windows WMA files are usually played with Windows Media Player. However, many other audio programs are also capable of playing this file format.
