CAP

1. The maximum amount of a value. For example, a server may cap the amount of logins to a server to prevent the server from becoming overloaded.
2. A protective cover found on connections.
3. Short for Competitive Access Provider, see the local bypass definition for additional information.
4. A single capitalized letter.
