AJAX

Short for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, AJAX is a term coined by adaptive path that is a method of describing web application that take advantage of using a combination of XHTML, CSS, DOM, XML, and XSLT. Gmail is one example of a web application that utilizes AJAX.
